​the national water company (nwc) and the digital scanning company for information technology (whitehelmet) signed a memorandum of understanding (mou) aimed at activating the implementation follow-up of infrastructure projects of water and environmental services, monitoring their performance remotely and the progress of field work, in order to contribute to improving business outputs.the mou was signed today, may 23, 2023, during the future projects forum, held in riyadh from may 22 -23. the national water company was represented in the signature by his excellency eng. mansour bin mohammed abu thnain, vp, nwc, projects and technical services sector. for whitehelmet’s part, abdullah muhanna abal khil signed the mou. eng. abu thnain explained that this mou aims to improve the process of following up projects and monitoring their performance remotely using fourth generation technologies. he pointed out that opportunities for cooperation with the digital scanning company (whitehelmet), knowledge transfer in the field of providing, qualifying, and training services and exchanging experiences in the field of following up and documenting the implementation of projects will be discussed.for its part, the digital scanning company for it whitehelmet explained that it seeks to establish joint cooperation on providing and exchanging knowledge and technology with the national water company, implementing experiments that highlight the adoption of methods of following up and documenting the implementation of infrastructure projects, encouraging visits by specialists between the two parties, participation in meetings and workshops, and discussing areas of cooperation between the two sides​​​​

​eng. ahmed bin mohammed al-suwayan, governor of digital government authority (dga), and eng. nemer bin mohammed al-shibl, ceo of the national water company (nwc), witnessed the signing by dga and nwc, on thursday, february 9, 2023, of a memorandum of understanding (mou) aimed at achieving fruitful cooperation between the two parties, activating the path of life experiences, and a number of digital transformation aspects, in order to invest in the added values of each party to achieve the common and general interests of both sides, in addition to providing highly efficient digital services to the beneficiaries of water services, and realizing integration in the field of digital government.the mou was signed by eng. mohammed bin ibrahim al-khalil, dga's director of products and business solutions and eng. abdulrahman bin mohammed al-mandeel, nwc's general manager of applications, on the sidelines of the leap 23 conference held from 6 to 9 february 2023 at riyadh front.eng. mohammed bin ibrahim al-khalil, executive director of products and business solutions, stated that dga seeks to provide the necessary advice and support to raise the efficiency of digital services provided to beneficiaries through the life journeys program, and to enhance the contribution of the national water company to the digital economy.he explained that dga will provide the necessary advice and support in innovation, digital transformation and cloud solutions through the innovation and emerging technologies center, and marketing of the digital products through saudi digital, indicating that dga is working to measure the maturity index of the digital experience of the national water company, manage platforms and digital seal to enhance the beneficiary experience, and measure the company's digital transformation.for his part, eng. abdul rahman bin mohammed al-mandeel, nwc's general manager of applications indicated that the company would work through mou to share information related to the digital services provided to beneficiaries, and cooperate as necessary with dga to discuss the possibility of raising its efficiency, benefiting from the life journeys program, implementing the company's role to contribute to the digital economy, and providing the most prominent digital solutions using emerging technologies to discuss the possibility of benefiting from the innovation and emerging technologies center of the digital government authority.he explained that the digital documents and products developed by the company would be shared to be displayed and published through saudi digital, as well as sharing of supporting documents to measure the maturity index of the digital experience in order to enhance the beneficiary experience. he noted that ways of cooperation would be discussed with dga to raise the kingdom's ranking in international indicators related to the company's work.​

the national water company “nwc and the saudi contractors authority “sca signed on tuesday, march 22, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the two parties in the field of data integration, specialized management consulting, and exchange of expertise, knowledge, and information in the research programs of mutual interest. the memorandum of understanding was signed on the sidelines of the future projects forum held in riyadh march 21 to 22, 2022, between engineer nemer bin mohammed al-shebel, ceo (designate) of the national water company, and engineer thabet bin mubarak al suwaid, secretary general of the saudi contractors authority, in the presence of senior employees of both sides. engineer nemer bin mohammed al-shebel, ceo (designate) of the national water company, explained that the memorandum of understanding comes as part of the efforts of the two parties to support mutual cooperation, and activate cooperation initiatives that serve the contracting sector and its employees, as well as contribute to addressing the problems facing the contracting sector, cooperation in the fields of qualification and evaluation of contractors and the field of data integration and exchange of their various experiences and information. thabet bin mubarak al suwaid, secretary general of the saudi contractors authority, said the memorandum of understanding will contribute to the transfer of best practices, keeping pace with modern technologies and localizing them in the field of contracting. the secretary general of the saudi contractors authority al-suwaid noted that the memorandum of understanding would open up broad research horizons, especially in the water and environmental services sectors. he stressed the importance of cooperation in providing advice and support in order to support the mandate of both parties, and their objectives according to regulations, through coordinating meetings on the joint work. engr. al-suwaid indicated that the memorandum allows sharing of studies and statistics related to the contracting sector specified by the parties, in order to support programs and initiatives enabling saudi arabian vision 2030, to achieve its objectives in relation to saudization, empowering national cadres, and enhancing their participation in the development of the nation.​​
