NWC signs MOU with WhiteHelmet to activate 4G tech. in remote monitoring of project performance and progress.

​The National Water Company (NWC) and the Digital Scanning Company for Information technology (WhiteHelmet) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at activating the implementation follow-up of infrastructure projects of   water and environmental services, monitoring their performance remotely and the progress of field work, in order to contribute to improving business outputs.  

 
The MoU was signed today, May 23, 2023, during the Future Projects Forum, held in Riyadh from May 22 -23. The National Water Company was represented in the signature by His Excellency Eng. Mansour bin Mohammed Abu Thnain, VP, NWC,  Projects and Technical Services Sector. For "WhiteHelmet"’s part, Abdullah Muhanna Abal khil signed the MoU.   
 
Eng. Abu Thnain explained that this MoU aims to improve the process of following up projects and monitoring their performance remotely using fourth generation technologies. He pointed out that opportunities for cooperation with the Digital Scanning Company (Whitehelmet), knowledge transfer in the field of providing, qualifying, and training services and exchanging experiences in the field of following up and documenting the implementation of projects will be discussed.
 
For its part, the Digital Scanning Company for IT "Whitehelmet" explained that it seeks to establish joint cooperation on providing and exchanging knowledge and technology with the National Water Company, implementing experiments that highlight the adoption of methods of following up and documenting the implementation of infrastructure projects, encouraging visits by specialists between the two parties, participation in meetings and workshops, and discussing areas of cooperation between the two sides
