The National Water Company (NWC), celebrated the memorizers of the Book of God "The Holy Quran", in its annual initiative held under the patronage of Eng. Nemer bin Mohamed Al-Shebl, CEO of the company, and in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Hathloul Al-Hathloul, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Memorization of the Holy Quran in Riyadh (Maknoon), and the winners of the first session of the competition were honored. The company's labor committee organized the competition.
The company indicated that this initiative was organized under the generous patronage of the Holy Quran Memorization Foundation in Riyadh (Maknoon) in the month of Ramadan of this year. Some 90 contestants participated in 3 tracks; (Surat Al-Baqarah, Juz' Amma, and Juz Tabarak). The 18 Contestants who won the first places in the competition were given monetary and in-kind prizes.
Eng. Nemer bin Mohamed Al-Shebl, CEO of the National Water Company, said "The place is honored by the purpose for which we meet today, after our colleagues who memorize the Book of God competed. Let us pay them tribute in this blessed meeting, and contribute to strengthening the spirit of cooperation and fraternity, in compliance with God's order “Help ye one another in righteousness and piety". NWC, CEO, extended his extreme thanks to Maknoon Foundation who worked assiduously and sincerely to achieve the completion objectives".
