As part of the company's commitment to provide quality services, the National Water Company (NWC) is urging its customers with unregistered or illegal domestic water connections to rectify their status quickly. Customers are urged to register their water and sewerage connections before the status correction initiative ends on 18 August to be exempted from fines and service charges. Customers can register through NWC's official channels, including the NWC mobile app and e-branch.
The company has launched a status correction initiative on 18 May 2025, which was valid for 3 months. NWC urged beneficiaries to visit the company’s official channels to learn about the conditions for obtaining services, the application process for registering illegal or unregistered connections, and the details of exemption from the service fees. They can also find out about violations or fines resulting from illegal connections and the connection types subject to registration.
The company pointed out that its official channels receive requests 24 hours a day and that the unified call center (800 441 1110) provides application services and answers inquiries. NWC stressed that encroaching on water and sanitation networks affects the sustainability and utilization of water services and harms public health and the environment as well.
