NWC: Success of the operational plan for Ramadan by distributing + 282 million m3

​​The National Water Company (NWC) announced the success of its operational and technical plan to provide and manage water supplies for the Ramadan month season of the current year. NWC distributed more than 282 million cubic meters from the beginning of 1 to 29 Ramadan 1444H in all regions of the Kingdom.  

The company indicated that it prepared from an early stage with an operational plan for water management and distribution that ensures, God willing, the continuation of providing the service in an optimal manner. The company noted that the working plan included equipping the manpower working in customer service centers that will work continuously to serve and solve customers’ issues. NWC pointed out that the plan for this year's Ramadan season included the allocation of teams for operation and maintenance, equipped with sophisticated equipment and machinery to address emergencies and technical malfunctions, in addition to equipping the filling stations "Al-Ashyab" and their facilities in various governorates and cities of the Kingdom.  

The company stated "We succeeded in distributing more than 9.7 million cubic meters per day during the month of Ramadan in various regions of the Kingdom, and this also supported the company's reception of customer requests through its e-channels namely NWC Mobile App. on smart phones, or through its e- branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number (8004411110) for water services in all regions of the Kingdom 24 hours a day to receive reports, and pass them on to the maintenance teams that worked around the clock to ensure that they are treated in a timely manner, God willing.  

NWC explained that the implementation of the operational and technical plan was characterized by continuous follow-up, performance monitoring, and handling of reports, as there is direct and continuous coordination with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation “SWCC”, the main partner for water production in the Kingdom, in order to distribute the cities' shares of desalinated water, and ensure its continuity during the holy month.
