The National Water Company "NWC", represented by the General Directorate of Water Services, Najran Region, has started implementing the 24-hour weekday continuous pumping initiative in Al-Wadea Center, Sharoura Governorate. This measure aims to strengthen the water supply system for customers, increase the coverage rate, and improve the operational efficiency of services.
Eng. Mohammed Al-Atiq, General Manager of Water, Najran Region, stressed that the application of continuous pumping is carried out in Al-Wadea Center to increase the level of services provided to customers. He pointed out that competent Saudi staff who professionally implemented the initiative to improve the use of resources, increase the efficiency of operational processes, reduce costs and optimize the use of water resources studied the operational situation.
"The extension of pumping hours in the water network of Al-Wadea Center, Sharoura Governorate, is now 24/7, instead of the previous pumping time, which was 3 days per week and an average of 10 hours per day," Al-Atiq said.
The Director General of Water Services in Najran Region said that the implementation of 24/7 pumping system in Wadea Center will benefit more than 8,000 beneficiaries. He called on all customers in Al-Wadea to use water sparingly, check float valves in households and fix any leaks to preserve the precious water wealth. Eng. Al-Atiq added that customers can manage their properties' water supply accounts through the NWC mobile phone app.
