The National Water Company (NWC)'s Northwest Cluster announced its operational readiness for the post-Hajj season of 1446H. During this time, the company will distribute more than 630,000 cubic meters of potable water daily to the guests of the Prophet's Mosque and Madinah. This effort is in line with the directives of the wise leadership — may Allah protect them — to utilize all available resources and capabilities to serve God’s guests and enable them to perform their rituals and worship with ease.

NWC pointed out that its readiness for the post-Hajj season in Madinah is a continuation of its efforts to serve pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque this year. More than 1,203 technical, administrative, and engineering staff are working around the clock to provide water and environmental services with high efficiency through an operational plan.

The company explained that its operational plan includes providing strategic storage and coordinating effectively with water production and transmission systems. According to the plan, the daily pumping rate exceeds 630,000 cubic meters of water during the post-Hajj season. There is continuous pumping for the central area and religious sites. Additionally, the company performs chemical and biological analyses to ensure the water's quality and conformity with approved specifications and standards. They perform 775 tests per day on water networks and reservoirs.

NWC emphasized that its smart operation system, managed by qualified national staff, continues to oversee the operation, monitoring, and control of the water network in Madinah, as well as the follow-up of water pressure and quality in networks and reservoirs to ensure the highest level of service.
