The National Water Company (NWC) concluded its participation in the Cityscape Global Exhibition 2025, hosted at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham under the theme “The Future of Urban Living.” During the event, the company showcased its comprehensive suite of services designed for real estate developers, along with digital and proactive solutions designed to accelerate the delivery of water and wastewater services to development projects. It also highlighted its post-connection services, such as property registration and billing for property owners.
The company explained that its participation reflects its commitment to ensuring efficient access to its services amid the rapid urban expansion taking place across Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the wise government, in addition to contributing to the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030. The company also highlighted its streamlined procedures that enable real estate developers to obtain water and wastewater services for their projects more quickly and seamlessly.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, NWC signed two agreements. The first, signed under the patronage of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, HE Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, was with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing represented by the Real Estate Developers Services Center (Etmam). This agreement aims to enhance service efficiency, accelerate progress in residential projects across the Kingdom, expand investment in the real estate sector, and promote data sharing.
The company stated that the agreement seeks to strengthen cooperation across shared operational areas, unify efforts between both parties in digital services, and streamline the approval process for water and wastewater service designs. It also focuses on increasing awareness among real estate developers regarding the requirements and procedures for the services provided by the company. The agreement also aims to improve coordination and communication, process service requests through the Balady platform, address challenges, and boost the efficiency of the operations room.
The second agreement, meanwhile, was signed with the National Housing Company (NHC) and is designed to enable seamless data exchange between the two organizations. This will enable the automated and accurate transfer of ownership for developed real estate units to new owners, while also improving data integration and enhancing the overall customer experience.
