​The National Water Company (NWC) has revealed the completion of a project to deliver water to the governorates of Al-Zulfi and Thadig in the Riyadh region. The project cost exceeded 63 million Saudi Riyals. It is part of the company's ongoing efforts to implement its strategic plans to develop infrastructure in both the water and environmental services sectors.

 
NWC stated that the project included constructing water lines and networks in several Al-Zulfi districts, including Qurtuba, Al-Rabwa, Al-Wisam, Hittin, Al-Rayyan, Badr, plans 962 and 954, and connecting to the high reservoir. The project also included constructing water networks in plan 340 in the Yarmouk district and plan 196 in the Al-Aqiq district, both in Thadig governorate. This brings the total length of lines and networks implemented to over 181 kilometers, serving 51,000 people.
 
The company explained that this project is part of its efforts to increase operational efficiency, improve the water distribution system, ensure water security, and provide sustainable water services to all cities and governorates of the Kingdom. This will be carried out in accordance with approved timelines and the highest quality standards to achieve the project's objectives and improve quality of life, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
 
NWC invited its customers in the supplied districts to request service connection through its official channels, such as the smart phone app or the e-branch ​
