To boost water services coverage, improve quality and meet the surging demand, the National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, completed a water supply project serving customers in different areas in Al-Qassim region at a total cost of more than SAR65 million.
The company said that this was phase nine of a major project for the installation of drinking water networks in the region. More than 320 kilometers of pipework and 1,034 domestic extensions have been installed as part of the big project.
The company added that the project supplies water to many villages, districts and centers in different parts of Al-Qassim. Meanwhile, NWC invited its customers in Buraidah and the governorates of Riyadh Al-Khabra, Uyun Al-Jawa, Al-Nabhaniyah, Al-Mithnab and Al-Rass to apply for the service through its official digital channels.
The project, the company stated, comes as part of its plans and strategies to expand its water services coverage, keep up with the increasing demand on its services, as well as improving the quality of life and enhancing the services it provides to the public in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
