The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, has started the implementation of four water and wastewater projects in different parts of the Al-Jouf region. The total cost amounts to more than 385 million Saudi riyals to improve the supply of water and wastewater and keep up with the increasing demand.
The company explained that the water projects include two projects with a total value of more than 256 million Saudi riyals, with pipelines and networks of nearly 223 kilometers, including the construction of a treatment plant with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day and operational reservoirs with a storage capacity of more than 55,000 cubic meters. The sanitation projects include two projects worth over 129 million Saudi riyals with more than 197 kilometers of pipelines and networks.
NWC emphasized that these projects are among the company's goals and strategies aimed at expanding the provision of water and wastewater services to keep pace with the growing demand for these services and improve the quality of life and services for the population in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
