NWC begins implementation of 16 water and sanitation projects in Qassim at a cost of more than SR1.1 billion

​The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, has started the implementation of 16 water and wastewater projects in different parts of the Qassim region at a total cost of more than 1.1 billion Saudi Riyals to expand the coverage of water and sanitation services and keep pace with the increasing demand.

 
NWC explained that the sanitation projects include 12 projects with a total value of more than 870 million Saudi riyals, the length of sewage pipes and networks exceeds 645 kilometers and the lifting stations have a total capacity of more than 6,000 cubic meters per day. The company pointed out that the water projects include 4 projects with a total value of more than 247 million Saudi Riyals and the length of water pipelines and networks exceeds 579 kilometers.
 
NWC emphasized that these projects come within the framework of the company's goals and strategies aimed at expanding the provision of water and environmental services to keep pace with the growing demand for these services and improve the quality of life and services for the population in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.​
