NWC completes plant and water lines development project in Hafr Al-Batin at SR +45m

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Eastern Cluster, announced completion of water transmission development plant project along with digging wells and replacing water lines in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, Eastern Province, at more than 45 million Saudi Riyals, under NWC's initiatives to enhance ground water sources.

 

NWC indicated that the project is executed at phases. Phase I comprised digging three wells at the wells field to raise wells production from 90,000 cubic meters per day to 108,000 cubic meters per day. The next phase included replacing three pumps inside the water transmission plant to raise the plant pumping capacity up to 27,000 cubic meters per day. In the last phase,  the company laid down more than 16,000 meters of water lines together with developing the pumping plant.

 

NWC made clear that the project and its components would contribute to raising the operational efficiency of popular services with drinking water, upgrading water quality, meeting growing demand on water, and raising water system coverage in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate and its affiliated villages.​
