NWC operates renewable water transmission line to Seder Park, Al-Edabi, Jazan

The National Water Company "NWC", represented by the Water Business Unit, Jazan Region, started operating the surplus line to transport renewable water from Al-Edabi Treatment Plant to Seder Park. The company indicated that the project aims to maximize the use of renewable wastewater in irrigating the park, located about four kilometers from the plant site.  

Engineer Bandar Nasser Jabr, Director General, Water Business Unit, Jazan Region, confirmed that the operation of the surplus line to transport tertiary renewable wastewater to Seder Park aims to benefit from the renewed water in the compact treatment plant, by pumps with a total capacity of (2000) m3 per day at a pressure of 6 bars, through a surplus line of high-density polyethylene "HDPE" pipes, with a diameter of 160 mm extending to 4 kilometers.   

Engineer Bandar indicated that the project would have a great impact in maximizing the use of all available water resources to irrigate the park. He pointed out that the cost of the project amounted to 4.7 million Saudi Riyals, and that it was implemented according to the highest standards of quality, health, and safety to serve its beneficiaries.
