NWC launches online appointments service (Mawid)

The National Water Company (NWC) announced the launch of its "Mawid" (appointment) service, which facilitates the booking of appointments to customer service centers. This comes in parallel with the return of office work in many customer service centers across the Kingdom. Now, customers can book an appointment to visit a center by selecting the region and type of service online via NWC's eBranch (e.nwc.com.sa) in line with the precautionary measures that the company implements to ensure the safety of its customers and visitors.

NWC said that the new service includes all commercial and governmental-directed services, the request and receipt of demolition and reconstruction letters as well as clearance letters for the residential sector.

Mawid service will be available for specific branches across the regions, the company added. The Central Cluster will be served through Nuzha and Al-Sulay districts in Riyadh, Al-Kharj branch, Al- Dawadimi and Al-Majmaah. The Eastern Cluster, however, will be served through Dammam, Al-Hafuf and Hafr Al-Batin Governorates. The Western Cluster's service centers will be in Al-Awalli branch, Makkah, the branch in Prince Sultan Street in Jeddah and Taif Governorate. The service in the Southern Cluster will be provided through the branches in Abha, Al-Baha, Najran and Jazan; whilst the North-West Cluster will be served via the main branch in Madinah and the branches in Yanbu and Tabuk. The Northern Cluster service centers will be located in Arar, Al-Jouf, Buraidah and Hail.

Advance reservation will be available online via Mawid service. The reservation message will be treated as an entry permit that must be presented upon visiting the centers. This helps to limit the number of visitors, apply the protective measures including wearing masks, maintain social distancing and avoid hand-shakes, in addition to making sure that visitors have the Tawakkalna application activated on their phones.

Noteworthy to mention that the company announced earlier that it intends to receive its customers in a number of customer service centers utilizing the Mawid service; furthermore, customers can follow up on all services and requests via NWC's website at e.nwc.com.sa.
