Hail Water kicks off supply to Al-Aliya Center, Al-Hayet Governorate, stops 300 tanker trips monthly

The National Water Company "NWC", represented by the General Directorate of Water Services, Hail Region, began the official pumping of water to the comprehensive project at the Al-Halifa Al-Ailya Center in Al-Hayet Governorate. This pumping is to keep pace with the growing demand for water services, improving the quality of services provided, increasing operational efficiency by transporting and distributing water, improving operational performance, realizing the wise government's aspirations to raise the level of water services provided to beneficiaries, as well as strengthening the water source system, and water and environmental services infrastructure.


Khaled bin Eid Al-Jamaan, General Manager of Water Services in the region, said the project to pump water into the network for new districts at Al-Halifa Al-Ailya Center, 200 km south of Hail city would serve more than 1,744 beneficiaries, and contribute to elimination of nearly 300 tanker truck trips monthly as part of plans to increase operational efficiency and improve the level of services provided.


Al-Jamaan added that the project included implementation of water network lines extending more than 35,000 meters long, the construction of a 1,000-cubic-meter ground tank and the implementation of 218 water connections for serviced properties. He stressed that the General Directorate of Water Services in Hail Region is implementing projects of water and sanitary drainage services to maximize benefits of the available resources and developing them for sustainability and upgrade the services provided to customers in the region.
