Requirements for wastewater connections:

1. The whole building is completely plastered; connection is entered only after the completion of tiling and painting works.
2. Surfaces water drainage and the lower yard not to be connected to the sewerage network.
3. Install safety caps on water and wastewater reservoirs. The cap should be made for this purpose and contains a protection network fixed into the frame to prevent any accidents.
4. If the building encompasses commercial shops such as restaurants, fish-sale shop, cars repair workshops, car washing zones or kitchens, grease traps should be installed, depending on size of the shop, after the observer visit.
5. You should determine a drain point for wastewater with a depth of not more than 60 cm.
6. Drain point should not come out of the reservoir immediately.
7. Non-cover of wastewater caps directly.
8. Any site connected with water meter should not have old debts. 
               

Requirements for new water connection:

3. Install safety caps on water and wastewater reservoirs. The cap should be made for this purpose and contains a protection network fixed into the frame to prevent any accidents.
4.  There should be a shallow well of buildings that are 2500 sqm or more.
5. Flush tanks and valves must not be supplied with drinking water according to regulations contained in the instruction licence as follows:
- Residential complexes, hospitals and apartments which encompass 30 toilets or more.
- Shopping malls which encompass 40 toilets and more.
6. A  space for the meter is determined on the outer wall of the premises, and it should be near water reservoir. A hole should be made onto the wall at 170 cm height from ground.
 
Notes that should be taken into account:

1. Duplex villas depending on the number of floors if the villa has one meter.
2. The villa with two floors is two units provided that its completely separation.
3. Private residential complexes consisting of villas and surrounded with a wall and contains one meter is counted depending on the number of villas.
4. Each apartment of the buildings used by families is counted as a single unit.
5. Any unit of a villa that is designed with one entrance is counted depending on the number of apartments.
6. Independent commercial shops, workshop, warehouse, laborers' rooms and petrol stations and the like are one unit.
7. Government buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, dispensaries and any equivalent unit is one unit.
8. Residential buildings used as furnished apartments are a single unit.
9. Housing units built in the form of separate rooms are a single unit.
10. Buildings used as offices are a single unit.
