In line with its efforts to effectively collaborate with various institutions and raise awareness about the importance of water preservation and wastewater treatment, NWC joined hands with King Saudi University. The university’s Civil Engineering School are given courses that tackle the water sector as stated in the university Bachelor’s curriculum, module 442 CE / 448 CE "Water and Wastewater Treatment.” Accordingly, civil engineering students benefited from the opportunity of visiting Salboukh Station. They were divided into three groups of 30 students each, and the visits were arranged as follows: Group A on Monday, 6/6/1432 H starting at 10 am.Group B on Tuesday, 7/6/1432 H starting at 10 am.Group C on Wednesday, 8/6/1432 H at 10 am. The visits were supervised by Engineer Faris bin Mohammed Munshi.Such collaborations are considered important environmental initiatives, due to the future contributions of these students through their pre-graduation assignments and projects.
