On July 28 and 29, 2009, the Red Sea Mall in Jeddah witnessed one of the Kingdom’s most prominent water events – the NWC Water Festival. The festival was held in the presence of more than 1200 visitors, and comprised a series of water-related events, stimulating games, as well as fun and educational activities. Children enjoyed performances by cartoon mascots, contests, face painting, and stories about Uncle Marjan designed to creatively educate them about water preservation. Parents and relatives were entertained by the various cultural events, prize draws, and 3D documentaries about the cycle of water. In addition, NWC introduced its objectives, highlighted its key achievements in Riyadh and Jeddah, and discussed its community efforts and sustainable development projects – tackling water recycling and the reuse of treated water at factories and farms to help preserve natural resources. NWC also introduced the services provided by its Customer Service Centers in Riyadh and Jeddah.
