Riyadh, Wednesday, 9 August, 2023: As part of the National Water Company’s continued efforts to execute its strategic plans aimed at developing the infrastructure of water and environmental services, the company announced that it has recently completed the execution of a wastewater network project in parts of King Abdullah and Al- Munsiyah districts in Riyadh, at a total cost of more than SAR26 million. The project comes as an integral part of NWC’s initiatives to increase coverage of the services it offers to its customers.
The company said that the project included the installation of more than 20 km of pipework, in addition to the establishment of a lift station with a daily capacity of 1,469 cubic meters. The project comes as part of its initiatives to reduce environmental impact for Saudi Arabia’s population, increase wastewater services coverage and raise the standard of current environmental services to keep up with the urban growth seen in the Saudi capital today.
To enhance its services and performance efficiency, NWC emphasized that it would accelerate the pace of progress on many of its initiatives for vital infrastructure to secure on-time delivery at the highest quality in order to achieve the objectives of this vital sector.
