The National Water Company (NWC), represented by the Southern Cluster, announced the completion of the implementation of two water projects in Khamis Mushait Governorate in the Assir Region at a cost of more than 47 million Saudi Riyals. The two projects aim to strengthen the company's infrastructure and increase operational efficiency by expanding coverage and services to customers.
The company clarified that the two projects include a project to complete the construction of a water treatment plant at Wadi Tandaha Dam, which aims to increase the coverage rate of drinking water supply by delivering the water to the reservoirs of Al-Rouneh, Ahad Rafida East districts, Military Areas and Silos. The total cost is more than 43 million Saudi Riyals.
NWC pointed out that the project to complete the Wadi Tanadha Dam water treatment plant includes a water treatment plant with a daily capacity of 16,800 cubic meters per day and the installation of a service tank with a capacity of 12,500 cubic meters.
The company stated that it has completed the implementation of another project to connect the water supply to the Khamis Mushait housing project through the implementation of a main water pipeline with a diameter of 400 mm and a length of 3,494 linear meters at a total cost of more than 4 million Saudi Riyals.
NWC reiterated its commitment to achieving its development goals, i.e., strengthening its infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of its operational efficiency by increasing the coverage of the services it offers to its customers. At the same time, it emphasizes that it applies the highest quality standards in the implementation of its projects in order to achieve the desired objectives.
