NWC completes phase 3 of Okaz District main sewerage line project in Riyadh.

​The National Water Company (NWC) has completed Phase 3 of Okaz district’s main sewerage line project in southern Riyadh. The cost of this phase amounted to more than 45 million Saudi riyals. The project aims to achieve environmental sustainability and eliminate environmental damage to the district’s residents.

The company explained: “The project includes the laying of a main sewage pipeline with different diameters and a total length of over 3.6 kilometers. It is an important part of an integrated plan to implement environmental projects serving more than 30,000 people in Okaz district, aiming to eliminate environmental damage, remove visual environmental damage, expand sewerage services and improve environmental services to achieve environmental sustainability goals and enhance the quality of life in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

NWC explained that this project is part of its ongoing efforts to implement strategic plans that develop the infrastructure of the water and environmental services sectors, expand coverage rates to be in line with the rapid urban growth in Riyadh. NWC also highlighted its commitment to achieving its development goals with the highest quality standards in project implementation to achieve the desired objectives in this important vital sector.​
