The Supreme Economic Council (SEC) has approved a process to reform the water and waste water sector, H. E. Eng. Abdullah Alhussayen, Minister of Water and Electricity said.

The Ministry of Water and Electricity (MOWE) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is sponsoring an International Conference on Public-Private Partnerships in Water and Wastewater Sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is being held on November 15, 2006 at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel in Jeddah City.
