NWC initiated implementing the above-mentioned project in earlier time during (15) months, and it has worked towards shortening the period of the project to (12) months, expected to be completed by the end of this month. The project includes the extension of a main line with (7.4 km) length, diameters ranging from (1200 mm to 1600 mm) and (14 meters) in depth with (6) horizontal holes to bypass highway.

NWC indicated that the project aims at stopping unloading household sewage tankers into East-of-Riyadh dump, and the closure of the temporary sewage tankers dump in Al-Falah and Ashbillia districts.
"The project serves Al-Nzaim, Maezilah, Jenadryah and part of Al-Khaleej district," NWC declared. It adds that this project will operate parts of the underway wastewater network in Al-Nazim district, and there is a possibility to implement approximately (500) household connections.

NWC showed that it has implemented in earlier time a comprehensive plan to accelerate projects in both Riyadh and Jeddah cities in cooperation with different contractors, and worked towards controlling delivery rates of those projects listed into the plan. It indicated that the most currently underway projects are implemented on a systematic basis and as per the acceleration plan set forth.

It should be mentioned that NWC works closely with Riyadh Municipality to take some urgent measures to close sewage tanker unloading dump, east of Al-Nazim district.
