Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington organized the "Career Day" associated with the graduation ceremony of the fourth class graduates of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship program to USA, in Maryland State, which lasted for three days under the patronage of HE Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari and HE Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Washington Dr Adel Jubeir and it was sponsored by Saudi Aramco, Samba Financial Group, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Airlines and King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Omar, Assistant Cultural Attaché inaugurated the school career fair, in which about 55 private sector and government sector agencies have participated including the National Water Company, which was keen to show up at career day to show the company's eagerness to attract highly qualified and scientifically experienced competences and to contribute to training and development of its young nationals to prepare them for work in the company.
The aim of Career Day, which is held annually, is to provide career and training opportunities for internal and external university students as well as to educate and familiarize them with effective ways to search for jobs and how to prepare CVs, in addition to interviewing them. A large number of students have applied for jobs available in banks, government and private universities, and companies amongst which was NWC as a leading entity very keen in attracting the elite group of young people who have the excellent scientific experience.
