With the blessing of God, the Almighty, and the wise guidelines of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, which were aimed at developing water and wastewater sector, NWC was established as an important move toward promoting and developing the performance of the sector in a manner consistent with the comprehensive development the Kingdom enjoys. Undoubtfully, the establishment of NWC is regarded a high priority to the Government especially when fulfilling its aspirations and plans set for the improvement of water and wastewater services depending on strategic objectives which were developed for reorganization of this sector.

We look forward to commencing a new phase during which NWC can work to produce radical changes to the sector performance level by enhancing its operational efficiency as per international standards, focus on the future establishment of a robust infrastructure to fulfill the increasing demands of population growth in KSA, provide high quality services by improving the quality of services provided to customers, and endeavor to protect the environment and preserve the natural water resources. To achieve this, NWC applies the best world-wide practices with regard to its functions, outsources the best professionals, transfers and localizes the knowledge for the development of human resources, adopts the latest electronic systems for the sake of the commercial conduct to meet the current and future challenges, and promote the performance level of the sector in order for it to be a world-class water utility.
