National Water Company launched a permanent exhibition for water and energy, which aims to the importance of water and energy conservation. The Regional Centre for Customer Service exhibition is located in King Abdullah Road on an area of 450 square meters. Also equipped with the latest international technology of three-dimensional display devices and other activates, in an effort to apply the best technologies in collaboration with specialized international companies to equip exhibitions with modern technical means to keep up with the best international standards to explain substantively and technically water and energy consumption within the social responsibility, also the company is looking forward to present in the next few days the launch of the website for the exhibition in order to book dates of visits for all the society, 18 Saudi employees work in the exhibition that are trained and qualified for this purpose.
The company confirmed that the exhibition of water and energy is guided with the Ministry of Water and Electricity and the National Water Company, to raise awareness of the importance of saving water and electricity, the exhibition is designed to broadcast awareness messages through the use of latest technologies. Pointing out that the messages for the visitors include the importance of water and electricity in the human life, and the high cost countries face in its production. Also focusing on the religious side in conservation as well as the environmental risks and the result of wasting water and electricity. The company pointed that the exhibition aimed at all the society from children, families, and tourist. Where the exhibition includes over a dozen of sections, each department with a different message of awareness for the visitor in ways to attract and interact with them. It begin with A Drop of Water play, where they display a film of awareness, and finally the importance of water in human life, and the general situation of water in the world in general, and in the Kingdom in particular.
The company added that the Department of awareness has a department for water consumers and water uses, and also figures presented on television, each figure of the characters talk about their experience in the use of water. Also the exhibition contains a set of historical information on the map of time describing the development of water services in Saudi Arabia in parallel with the population growth in that period. It also follows the department of water consumers, the water cycle in nature, where it is shown the natural mechanism of the water cycle and the human interference to extract water. Followed by a water infrastructure, of the map of Saudi Arabia showing the most important sites for water production projects, groundwater wells and desalination plants, as well as dams and environmental treatment plants. After that there is a corner for Qur'an and Sunnah, and interactive screens that display the most important verses in the Quran and Sunnah, which mansions water and conservation. Also a realistic representation of a house and the sites where water is used, such as toilets, kitchen, patio, and washing car. Then the game (bubbles) it is a touch screen game that contains a series of questions that appears in form of drops of water.
Also the company previously tested these methods experimentally by regulating private visits for some schools to informing them about the exhibition. As the number of visitors during that period are around 35 children, also briefed on the departments and listen briefing.
