Which is reflected in the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques alerts from time to time to the administrators the need to work and achieve which also means that the high returns observed for the development of the water sector as it is in the budget can return as a negative impact if it were not there and the implementation of the conscious, sights are set on the same directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince.

CEO Speech Following the Inauguration of the 1st Stage of Wastewater Connections Project in North-Central Area of Jeddah City
Dear brothers and sisters,
NWC employees;
After Greetings,

On my behalf and on behalf of NWC employees, I shall be pleased to present my thanks everyone who worked hardly to complete the 1st stage of wastewater connections in the north-central area in Jeddah city.

"This historical accomplishment was achieved in virtue of obeying the ordains of HRH the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince for the sake of the development plan they led - may Allah preserve them - which Emirate of Makkah region translates on ground during the reins of our esteemed government" Mr. Al-Musallam said. He added that the great support we get to accelerate the implementation of wastewater projects asserts that citizens and residents are enjoying the great interest of the government, the support of Makkah region Emirate, and the successfulness of NWC strategy furnished to accelerate the speed of work, and ending WW projects in Jeddah on time. All these fruits reflect the successfulness of W&WW sector privatization strategy in the Kingdom and the Corporate ability to come to blows with regional and global companies that implement infrastructure projects in the region; nevertheless, NWC was able to accomplish this project by Saudi employees after a long waiting period, over 30 years, which had negative effects on wastewater services in Jeddah city.

It should be noted that the first stage of wastewater projects in Jeddah city was completed and launched ahead of the specified timetable, where the project covered the acceleration of the airport plant No.1 completion and running one year ahead of the deadline, the acceleration of the 1st stage kick-off process of wastewater connections installation 7 months ahead as 8000 household connections would be installed this year. Another 52.000 household connections will be installed in mid-2013, and then the 2nd stage of WW household connections would be implemented on a later stage to reach to a grand total by the end of the two stages to more than 132.000 connections. The installation of such connections is anticipated to contribute in reducing the traffic move of sewage tankers in Jeddah to a number equivalent to (6.5) million request per year.

NWC employees and personnel exert tireless efforts to execute pivotal projects in the near future in Jeddah as the company is in process to award the first water strategic storage project in Jeddah city with a capacity of 1.000.000 m3/day and expected to be completed in eight months time. Following this project, NWC would award more than 3 strategic tanks with a total capacity of 5.000.000 m3. Recently, NWC is also working towards awarding a number of pivotal projects in Jeddah city, and other projects are under awarding process with a total value of approximately (2.5) BSR during the next two years.

I wish everybody continued success and doing right things in the future.

Yours Sincerely,
Loay Al-Musallam

The trust bestowed to HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, may God preserve him, by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the royal family and the Saudi people reflects the merits HRH have as a leader and high-ranked person, not only at the national level, but also on regional and international levels. Over decades and decades, Prince Naif contributed, and still contributing, in national activities to build and bestow prosperity over Saudi Arabia. CEO Offers Condolences for Death of Prince Sultan
Dear brothers and colleagues,
NWC employees
After Greetings;

With sincere grief and sorrow, National Water Company mourns the death of HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General (may Allah have mercy upon him); in this sorrowful occasion NWC conveys the deepest condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah preserve him) and to HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (may Allah preserve him) on sad demise of HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy upon him).

The demise of the Crown Prince "is a great loss for the Arab and Islamic worlds especially when it missed a typical example, brilliant international personality, and a prominent symbol of Arab, as he dedicated his long and eventful life and answered the higher call of duty to serve his country, people, and nation. No doubt that the void HRH left is measured by the achievements he reaped over the years he served the country for the public interest since he was occupied official responsibilities by his late father HH, King Abdul-Aziz at the beginning of his life. This briefing would not be enough to shed the light to aspects of HRH personality of the great and generous leader Prince Sultan not to mention his political, military, developmental and charitable contributions with senses touching the whole humanitarian world. Prince Sultan had a vision of administration towards the administrative development, national achievements in supporting the development process through the roles and responsibilities he undertook during the past decades. The considerable achievements, acts of charity, love of people, at home and abroad shall be praised.

It should be mentioned that Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy upon him) is the first minister of agriculture and water for the modern Saudi Government, where he was responsible for the settling of the nomads whose children were developed under the umbrella of this sprawled country. Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz won't be forgotten specifically by water sector workers as His Highness paid every attention to the preservation and development of water resources in the Kingdom, and emphasized that through the permanent directives to workers in the sector. Moreover, Prince Sultan's activities got beyond that where he orders the establishment of the "Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water", the PSIPW award is a bi-annual prize aims to give recognition to the efforts that scientists, inventors and research organizations around the world are making in water related fields. PSIPW acknowledges exceptional and innovative work which contributes to the sustainable availability of potable water and the alleviation of the escalating global problem of water scarcity, especially in dry areas.

Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy upon him) had assumed a significant ministerial portfolio, that is Ministry of Transport, and had made a significant role to join the expansive parties of the Kingdom with a network of roads which made the movement of citizens across the country so easy. Here, words cannot express how sorry we are about the loss of Sultan, Prince of generosity, who is missed by many of the people of his country. One of our fondests memories of Prince Sultan is of the kindness he showed to the widows, orphans, disabled and the sick people whose tongues praise fervently to the almighty Allah to grant peace to the departed soul of Sultan who spent long and eventful life answering the higher call of duty to serve his people and his country. So, in this doleful occasion, we ask Allah, the Almighty, to rest Prince Sultan’s soul in eternal peace.
May the  Almighty Allah have mercy upon the late Prince Sultan for his contributions towards the Islam, his nation and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I, on behalf of NWC employees, extend my sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the royal family and the people of Saudi Arabia and the Arab and Islamic nations over the death of the heir-apparent to the Saudi throne.

Best regards,
Loay Al-Musallam
