National Water Company (NWC) intends to building a close long-term strategic relationship with its contractors/suppliers in order to reach effective best quality levels. To achieve this objective an automated system for the management and casting bases for building an interactive relationship between the company and its contractors/suppliers is prepared in furtherance of contributing to the achievement of positive results through the setting of unified solid foundations for a more transparency relationship based on quality performance, rapid implementation and securing more effective communication channels.

Contractors/suppliers qualification is an ever continuing process and not fixed one that is done once only. Therefore, the list of the qualified companies will be subject to periodical review and evaluation and will be upgraded by adding or eliminating a number of contractors/suppliers. This will be conducted through coordination with the departments concerned which will provide Contractors Qualification Department with a list of the default projects and supplies and the names of contractors and suppliers implementing such projects and supplies.

Important Introductions to Bidders Preceding Registration:

• Contractors.
• Consultants.
• Suppliers / manufacturers.

Registration for NWC is made clear and sequential, and it advisable to produce the following documents on the desktop files on "PDF" format namely:

• Letter of Authorization, certified by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 
• A brief on the company's business. 
• Any governmental documents, including the following:

1) Commercial Register. 
2) Certificate of subscription to Chamber of Commerce & Industry. 
3) Certificate of GOSI. 
4) Saudization Career Certificate. 
5) Certificate of Zakat & Income. 
6) Certificate of Contractors Classification "if any". 
7) General Authority for Investment Licensing "of foreign investors".
8) Certificate of Classification of Consulting Offices by the Saudi Council of Engineers "if any".
9) License of Profession Practice for "Consulting Offices" 
10) Certificate of Industrial Licensing for "manufacturers,"

Upon the completion of the 1st phase, an e-mail will be sent to you including "reference No." allowing you to complete the 2nd phase of registration. We emphasize the necessity that no other individuals should take knowledge thereof or look therein .

• Financial Statements:

1) The balance sheet of the company / establishment for the last three years (a compressed file on "rar" format) for contractors.
2) The balance sheet of the office / company for the last year (on a "PDF" format) for consultants.

• Equipment:

1) Table of equipment for contractors.

Note: Contractor refers to the local contractor which is registered within the Kingdom via Ministry of Trade & Industry or the General Authority for Investment.
