Water Festival activities were launched at Red Sea Mall on Tuesday and Wednesday, 6-7 Sha'ban 1430, corresponding to 28 - 29 July 2009; the number of attendees reached 1200 male and female visitors. And it included the following events:

•  A representation to cartoon characters.
•  A contest for children.
•  Cultural events for families with prizes for the winners.
• Coloring and face painting contest for children.
• A story about Uncle Marjan designed to water conservation and preserving.
• Plying a 3-D movies of the life-cycle of water.
• Introduction of NWC vision, mission, and objectives, and highlighting its achievements in Riyadh and Jeddah cities.
• Introduction of NWC efforts in the community and sustainable development through water recycling and the use of treated water in factories and farms to preserve natural resources.
• Introducing the services provided by Customer Service Centers in Riyadh and Jeddah cities.
• Highlighting the importance of water in life, and how to preserve natural resources.
